The president is continuing his spat with comedians by demanding that NBC remove late-night anchor Seth Meyers.

Story imageOn Saturday, Trump said in a post that Meyers has "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Trump added, "His "program" is a Ratings DISASTER, and last night viewers saw him in an uncontrolled rage. Meyers has any kind of talent whatsoever; NBC needs to terminate him immediately!

Meyers and his NBC show, "Late Night with Seth Meyers," which has been running at 12:34 a.m. ET since February 2014, have been the target of Trump's criticism in the past. Trump made the statement on November 1st that he had seen Meyers' show for the first time and had thought that he was the "least skilled person to "act" live in television ever.

According to Newsweek, Meyers frequently makes fun of the president. The 50-year mortgage plan and the handling of the Jeffery Epstein papers have both been the targets of Meyers' jokes.

Trump has demanded that NBC dismiss Meyers little over two months after the Walt Disney Company ousted Jimmy Kimmel from late-night hosting duties for remarks he made regarding the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and Trump's reaction to inquiries over the matter. In his approving remarks, Trump mentioned Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers as potential candidates for the position. The network discussed bringing Kimmel back on television around one week after his expulsion due to the negative reaction to his removal.
